Will my registration for the 2023 event carry over to 2024?
Yes! Everyone who registered prior to August 6, 2023, is confirmed and their registration will carry over to 2024. They do not need to re-register. When registration opens again in October, MPA will send a confirmation email with the new dates.
I can’t attend in 2024. Can I get a refund?
Anyone who purchased tickets prior to August 6, 2023, can request a refund through September 15, 2023 by emailing conference@michiganpet.org. Refunds will be issued back to the card used at the time of purchase. After September 15, 2023, MPA will only allow name changes.
If a donation was included at the time of ticket purchase, we appreciate the support! Donations are non-refundable.
Is the 2023 One Voice: MPA Conference & Expo canceled?
No, the event is not canceled, just moved to next year so we can produce an even bigger and better event. The new dates are October 9-11, 2024, at the Sheraton Grand Rapids Airport Hotel, 5700 28th Street, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
Why did the conference move to 2024?
MPA received an opportunity we couldn’t refuse to make the event even bigger and better.
I registered for the conference as a non-member. When will my MPA membership begin?
For non-members choosing to not cancel their registration, the MPA membership will start on October 12, 2023, and expire on October 12, 2024. All members will receive a renewal notice at least 30 days prior to their renewal date.
I was awarded a scholarship to attend the 2023 conference, does it carry over to 2024?
Awarded scholarships will remain in place and will transfer over to 2024, provided the MPA membership is renewed by July 1, 2024, and remains active through October 11, 2024. If there are any questions about the status of a membership and/or scholarship, please email conference@michiganpet.org.
I requested a refund, but haven’t received it yet?
MPA will issue all refunds by September 22, 2023. Once we’ve processed a refund through our payment processor, it should post to the credit card on file within 3-7 days (depending on the credit card company). An email notification of the cancellation may go out before the refund posts to the card.
I canceled my early/discounted registration for 2023 and now plan to attend in 2024. Can I get the 2023 early/discounted registration price?
Unfortunately, we cannot extend the 2023 pricing to the 2024 program for new registrations.
I booked a hotel room for the 2023 conference. What will happen to my reservation?
Everyone who reserved a room through the MPA room block will be canceled without penalty and their credit card will not be charged. MPA will email a new booking link for the 2024 block of rooms as soon as it is available.
Anyone who booked hotel, transportation or other travel arrangements outside of the MPA room block will need to follow the supplier’s rules for cancellations and/or requesting refunds.
Why can’t I find the new event dates on the Whova app?
Whova will publish the new event 90 days prior to the event on July 11, 2024.
