Thanks to the National Animal Care & Control Association (NACA), Michigan Pet Alliance is excited to offer scholarships to reduce the two-day conference registration fee, to just $50 for MPA members and $85 for non-members. Scholarships will be based upon financial hardship and are being offered on a first-come, first-approved basis.
Application Timeline: Applications must be submitted by July 31, 2026. The MPA Conference Planning Committee will review and evaluate each application based on a combination of financial hardship and interest in animal welfare. Applicant information will not be provided to the committee to ensure a blind selection process is used. Notification from the committee will be made no later than August 16, 2026. If your application is approved, conference registration and the non-refundable registration fee are due by August 31, 2026.

General Requirements: Applicants must demonstrate financial need, be employed or volunteer within the field of animal welfare, and submit a completed MPA Scholarship Application by the required deadline.
Upon notification of approval, the applicant will receive an email with a link to register for the conference and pay the registration fee. Please do not register for the conference until you receive a decision from the committee. Registration fees are nonrefundable.
MPA Policy: It is the responsibility of the scholarship recipient to register for the conference and pay the fee before August 31, 2026, or your spot may be forfeited. Registration includes all meals and snacks provided during the full two-day event. Transportation to the conference and lodging are the responsibility of the scholarship recipient.
