WEBINAR: Wednesday, August 19, 2026 – Intro to Community Cat Caretaker Certification, Angelica Roth, All About Animals Rescue

Want to make a real difference for outdoor cats in your neighborhood? Learn what it takes to be a Certified Cat Caretaker.  This overview will assist in understanding how to stop the cycle of feline homelessness through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), gain expert tips on humane trapping, winter sheltering, responsible feeding and colony management. If this Lunch & Learn peaks your interest the AAAR certification course is offered monthly in-person and online. There will also be a full 4-hour certification course in-person at MPA’s 2026 Conference at Macomb Community College on Thursday, October 1 (the day before the conference). Also, on Saturday at the conference, Angelica will give a one-hour hands-on workshop on how to build an outdoor shelter for community cats.

Angelica Roth, M.P., B. Msc. has been working with community cats since the mid-1990s. She’s always had a heart for cats and helping those who prefer to live outside do so with the best support possible. She began working with community cats in Arizona and moved to Michigan (because of cats) in 2007. She says that when cats come around her house for more than a couple weeks, they are getting fixed! She’s been working with All About Animals since 2014. Angelica has a passion for teaching others how to do TNR in a way that brings more comfort for the cats. This results in the cat’s immune systems staying strong and a more rapid recovery.
